KK ROCKXXXX at THE CROSSROADS 08'

Pupps assured me and mikey, a ‘free’ entry to the CROSSROADS 08'(with some jugaad of course) which is the annual cultural fest of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), DU. And today, in the afternoon while we were at his house, he informed us that he had some other plans ;) and that he can't come with us today and that me and mikey would have to arrange for passes ourselves.

Trouble's just started..!!

We had stayed overnight at his place and had a great time doing all the masti . Me and mikey went hunting for a chaiwala at 4.30 in the morning but to our super-luck we found none. We played cards, watched movies, TV Shows (including..uhh.. the family guy), eating and again playing .... We finally slept at 5.30. Getting ready for the BRUNCH at 2.30 (or rather LUNCH...), Pupps told us that he won't be available.

Reluctantly me and mikey reached SRCC hoping for some jugaad on our own, since I did have a few contacts. It didn’t work out (Troubles increasing..) so we decided to watch THE FASHION SHOW at MECCA 08', The annual cultural fest of the Hindu College, DU. Only one word to describe the event.... ooooooooohh..!!It was awesome (Trouble's decreasing...it surely did).

It was already 6.30 pm and I advised mikey to try once again for the KK LIVE performance.

Yeah yeah yeah, we did get in this time (jugaad, you know..).

KK was at his best. We watched him perform and closely so. Infinite people had turned up to see him perform LIVE. And believe me, he truly lived up to the expectations. The entire crowd of million were swinging, dancing, shouting, hooting for every song he sang. There were pretty girls all around which made the evening even more enjoyable. One gala of an event which we almost missed but luckily we didn't (Trouble's ended). I mean, I HAVE seen people going ga-ga over the fact that they would be watching someone perform live but really, never heeded it.

But today, KK completely blew everyone of their seats with his superlative performance.... HAT'S OFF.

EXCELLENT SHOW

CONGRATS SRCC....!!!(Not to forget, Hindu College..ooohhoo..!!)

Your Destiny Rulzzzzz U...!!!!

A boy named Ravi was immensely ambitious. Like everyone, He wanted to be very successful in life.

Although, he failed in clearing the IIT entrance exams successfuly twice in a row. Still, he managed his way through, a decent regional engineering college (REC).

First few months were quite ordinary. A day in the life of engineering students’ life would mean: Reaching the class at 9.50 for a 9 am lecture, Have lunch at 12.30(being a hosteller, lunch would mean digging into a day scholar’s meal), hang around with friends, and returning to the hostel at 5-6 in the evening.

Then, there was news about an IIM graduate being offered 2.25cr by US based MNC was a popular topic of discussion amongst the aspirants for the same during that time. For Ravi, it was never an IIM but an IAS, it was always: a settled 3-4 years in a satisfying job and thereby going in for an IAS exam.

He passed out of the college and led a well-deserved comfortable life for next few years until when he decided to prepare for the civil services.

The next few months were not easy. He toiled and worked diligently. He didn’t take a sabbatical leave from his office but rather quit his job so was his determination. Study for almost the entire day and often watching cricket for rejeuvination.

The D-DAY came, and he almost fainted at the first look of the exam. Gathering himself back, He managed through the exam.

The results came out. He had cleared the prelims comfortably and now he has to prepare for the finals. Everything was going smooth. He could himself seated in a office guarded by security-men outside and his subordinates ready to take orders at a wink.

One of his school friends who passed out as an MBA from the IIM was to make a return from New York (US) and a get together was planned.

It was 26th Nov 2008. Ravi was dining at the WASABI, THE TAJ, Mumbai with his college batch mates who had met afteR almost 3 years. While he was still enjoying the meal, he got all nostalgic. From the school, to college and now finally he was here; just the final shot and he would live his dream.

Just then he heard gunshots in the lobby. Before they could move, a bullet pierced through his stomach. And he lay motionless on the floor.

It was a terror strike on the financial capital. More than 180 people died and 400 injured. Ravi was amongst many who succumbed to injuries.

Everybody who is reading this, I would request you to join hands and actively participate in the fight against terrorism.
