The Brahma-a-stra

Apart from changing my blog's URL, what I also did in last few weeks was pay ears to my friend who had been incessantly complaining about how a 'non-deserving' student belonging to one of the 'elite' categories got through to the IIMs with a much lower profile than required  by a General category student.

The Brahma-a-stra - referring to the certificate 'authenticating' the non-general category to which a student candidate belongs to and more often than not which he/she uses to get an undue advantage. Although an aster-ix sign is beautifully embellished alongside his/her accomplishments only to minutely justify the state of affairs.

Brahma-a-stra, though, may appear to have a definite negative connotation, I have intensionally picked it from my friends' to put forward a valid point.

While I am not personally against against reservation, it does bother me when you botch your conscience so much that you would pay a hefty amount only to get yourself falsely testified as a category student. While there could be some reservation, there could also be stringent mechanism to prevent the misuse.

Survival of the fittest? you may justify for such wrong-doings. But, for how long?

Being an educated and civilized human, you should get gather at least this much grit and honesty so that when tomorrow, you are thrown amongst the bulls, you can manage your way out: Read- ethically
